DO I NEED TO BRING ID?

Yes. If you are under 25 (or lucky enough to look it) we will require physical ID in order to be able to pierce you.
Please note that anyone under 16 will be required to be accompanied by their legal guardian who must also bring their ID. Photographs or photocopies will not be accepted.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET PIERCED?

This will depend on which piercing you’re planning on getting.

For lobe piercings our minimum age is 8 years old (provided the parent or legal guardian is present. We require both the ID of the person getting pierced and the ID of the guardian present). For any other ear piercings, the minimum age is 16 years old. For all other piercings please refer to our age guide bellow.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Piercing is available as a walk-in service, however if you require a specific time and day you can book an appointment by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button.

WHAT METHOD DO YOU USE?

We use the traditional needle method for all our piercings. All needles are single use and materials are sterilised and sealed.

WHAT AFTERCARE PRODUCT DO I NEED?

Your piercer will talk you through the specific aftercare protocol for the piercing you receive, and provide you with an aftercare plan. Refer to our Aftercare page for more detailed information.

WHAT JEWELLERY IS USED?

Implant-grade titanium jewellery is used as standard for all piercings and is included in the price. Premium jewellery upgrades are available for purchase in-store. For safety reasons we are not able to pierce with jewellery other than our own pre-sterilised jewellery.

You must be 18+ years old, no exceptions.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

On the day tattoo walk-in appointments are often available, contact us or pop in to ask about on-the-day availability. Some larger tattoos will require pre-booking, please click the ‘Book Now’ button to send us an enquiry and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE GETTING TATTOOED?

Prior to getting tattooed ensure you are well rested, well-fed and well-hydrated. It is not advisable to drink alcohol the night before getting tattooed (and please don’t drink on the day of your appointment before coming in for a tattoo). Wear comfortable clothing and be mindful to choose an outfit that will let your artist easily access the area of your body that the tattoo will be placed on.

WHAT AFTERCARE DOES A TATTOO NEED

Your tattoo artist will give you aftercare advice tailored to your tattoo type and placement. Please follow the aftercare advice of your tattoo artist as tattoo aftercare is specific to each tattoo and not a one size fits all approach. Check our aftercare page for general aftercare advice.

ARE DEPOSITS REFUNDABLE?

Deposits are non-refundable. A minimum of 48-hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

At Gypsy Stables Tattoo Collective, all tattoos, piercings, and jewellery purchases are carefully carried out under strict hygiene and safety standards. Due to the nature of our services, we maintain a strict no-refund policy, with limited exceptions as outlined below.

1. No Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds on:
    •    Tattoos
    •    Piercings & Tooth Gems
    •    Jewellery

This applies once the service has been performed or the jewellery has left the studio.

2. Exception – Assessment Required
Refunds may only be considered in exceptional circumstances and only after:
    •    The tattoo, piercing, or jewellery has been checked and assessed in person by our team
    •    The issue is determined to be a result of our workmanship or materials
Refunds will not be considered without an in-studio assessment.

3. Refund Approval Process
    •    All refund requests must be submitted through our email
    •    Requests are reviewed and confirmed by our Customer Support Team
    •    Approval is at the sole discretion of Gypsy Stables Tattoo Collective

4. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
    •    Refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days
    •    Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
